The HiT
Intent
Created within the University of Houston's College of Engineering, HiT is now the Technology Testbed/Test and Evaluation Division of the Southwest Public Safety Technology Center for the National Institute of Justice. This division is a consortium
that provides support for collaborative research relative to total
emergency situational awareness (prevention, detection and management).
This includes four key disciplines: first response, traffic
mobility, clean air mitigation and homeland security. |
